Hexagons work best as a composition rather than a repeated pattern. A few changes in height and spacing create a natural rhythm while the shared geometry keeps the group coherent.
Start with an anchor
Place the largest or visually richest piece slightly off centre, then let smaller modules travel outward. Three pieces create a compact gesture; five to seven begin to define an architectural zone.
Keep the spacing consistent
Use one repeatable gap between frames and check the full outline, not only the joints. Lay the composition on the floor first and photograph it before transferring measurements to the wall.
